There’s no doubt that Grand Seiko is responsible for some of the best contemporary watches in the world.
With their stunning craftsmanship, in-house movement technology, creative sense of aesthetics, and eye for detail, the high-end spinoff of Japanese powerhouse Seiko is keeping the Swiss on their toes. Whether it’s a simple, time-only dress watch, a complicated GMT, or a constant-force tourbillon, Grand Seiko’s wares are some of the finest in any class.
This particular Grand Seiko, an SBGA427, is a Soko Special Edition inspired by the end of autumn. Housed in a 39mm stainless steel case with ‘holey’ lugs, a sapphire crystal, a signed crown, and a polished bezel, it features a brushed satin silver dial with applied indices and a matchinga matching Dauphine handset, a green seconds hand, a power reserve indicator at 7:30, and a date at 3:00.
Powered by Grand Seiko’s innovative Caliber 9R65 Spring Drive movement with 72 hours of power reserve, it comes paired to a signed black alligator leather strap with a signed steel push-button deployant clasp, and is accompanied by all of its goodies and an additional stainless steel bracelet.
Few brands put as much thought into the design of simple, time-only watches as Grand Seiko. But don’t take our word for it...
